Double sided (tooth on both sides) belts are constructed of three different aspects - The teeth and belt backing are constructed of highly durable polychloroprene-based elastomer materials. To ensure longevity and smooth drives of the belt wear resistant polyamide fabric with a low coefficient of friction is used. Low stretch helically wound glass fibre cords run through the entire length of the belt in order for maximum length stability and tensile strength. The positive-grip (tooth) drive principle ensures there is no belt slippage and a DD Double Sided operation with a constant speed can be achieved.
