Cast Iron Housing Bearings: UCP, UCF, UCFL, UCFC, UCT cast iron housing bearings come complete with a sealed bearing. These bearings are one of the most economical and common bearings used in many machinery applications, secured by 2 grub screws.
Pressed Steel Housing Bearings: These pressed steel housing bearings are made of galvanized steel construction these housings are a simple economical housed bearing solution. Designed for light to medium duty applications they can be bolted to sheet metal frameworks or even timber if required. The supplied sealed bearing insert has grub screws for securing to the shaft. Once assembled the bearing remains rigid in the housing. The inserts are also available separately.
Stainless Steel Housing Bearings: These stainless steel housing Bearing units are supplied with a fully sealed stainless steel bearing insert fitted in the stainless steel housing. Secured by 2 grub screws, the inserts (available separately) can be removed from the housings for future replacement as required. Stainless Steel bearing units are mainly used in various food & beverage machineries, medical & medicine equipments and many other corrosion resistant applications. Stainless steel bearings can be used in the food and marine industry, as it does not rust due to its resilience to water and other corrosive environments. This makes it hygienic to use.
Thermoplastic Housing Bearings: Thermoplastic housing is supplied with a fully sealed stainless steel bearing insert fitted in the plastic housing which has pre-fitted anti crush stainless steel inserts in the bolt holes and also includes a grease nipple to facilitate re-lubrication. The bearing insert has 2 grub screws to allow tightening against the shaft once fitted. The inserts (available separately) can be removed from the housings for future replacement as required. Stainless steel bearings can be used in the food and marine industry, as it does not rust due to its resilience to water and other corrosive environments. This makes it hygienic to use.
Insert Bearings: A bearing with a rounded outer race, usually used in a bearing housing. The inner race protrudes slightly on one side, and extends further on the other side.
