UCT series take up housing unit bearings are supplied with a fully sealed bearing insert fitted in the slotted take up housing and includes a grease nipple to facilitate re-lubrication. The bearing insert has 2 grub screws to allow tightening against the shaft once fitted. The inserts (available separately) can be removed from the housings for future replacement as required. 

Stainless steel bearings can be used in the food and marine industry, as it does not rust due to its resilience to water and other corrosive environments. This makes it hygienic to use.
