Our selection of oil-filled bronze bushings are suitable for a wide range of industries. Made in a variety of styles, these simple inexpensive bush-style bearings are ideal for operations in extremes of temperature at both high and low speeds, and because they are self-lubricating they require minimal maintenance.

Plain Sintered Bearings such as standard Oilite oil retaining tin bronze, gives a good balance between strength, wear resistance, conformability and durability in operation. Ideal in a wide variety of applications where "self lubricating" properties are required over a long period of time. Sizes range from OB (AM) plain bearing bushes series, OBF flanged bearing bushes series, and some BX type series bronze washers. 

Each comprises a flanged steel backing and a layer of bronze, where the pores are completely filled with PTFE (polytetra-fluroethelyne), of which an additional layer is added to the exterior of the inside surface. External corrosion resistance around the outer surface, ends and the split rolled joint is provided by a protective layer of tin.
