Leaf Chain is the simplest of steel chains, consisting only of link plates and pins. Leaf chain is used in lifting applications such as fork lifts, pneumatic and hydraulic jack fittings, etc. all of which move at slow speeds. Link plates are produced from alloy steel, especially selected to withstand sudden shock loads. Head treated to assure maximum breaking loads and wear resistance. Bearing pins are produced from heat treated alloy steel giving excellent resistance to bending.
BL-LH Type leaf chain is manufactured according to ISO4347, DIN8152, ANSI B29.8 and NFE26107, is the only leaf chain that is constructed from specific leaf chain components. BL-LH series leaf chain is a heavier duty leaf chain than AL and EL-LL series and so is the most common leaf chain used for forklift trucks, lifting and materials handling equipment.
